Put an EU AI Act risk check on your website

Your visitors answer three yes/no questions and see whether their AI system is likely high-risk, limited risk or minimal risk. Paste the code below into any page. Nothing to install, nothing to maintain: when the law changes, the widget changes with it.

Who uses it

A first answer, where the question is asked

Consultancies and law firms

Give visitors a first answer on your AI Act service page. The people who get “likely high-risk” are the ones who need you.

Blogs and newsletters

Put something interactive under an AI Act article instead of a wall of text.

Trade associations and chambers of commerce

A neutral first step for members who ask whether the regulation affects them.

Internal wikis and client portals

A quick triage before someone opens a ticket with legal.

Want more than a widget? The full 7-question assessment gives a saved result with a verifiable badge. Developers can call the same classifier through the MCP server or inventory the AI in a codebase with ai-act-scan.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is it really free?

Yes. No account, no API key, no usage limit. The widget carries a small “Powered by EuroComply” line and its result links to our full assessment, which is also free.

What data does the widget collect from my visitors?

The three answers stay in the visitor’s browser and are never sent or stored. We count anonymous usage (that a check was started or finished, and the hostname of the embedding page) with cookieless analytics. No personal data, no cookies.

What does it tell people?

A likely tier: high-risk, limited risk (Article 50 transparency duties) or minimal risk, with one paragraph of reasoning. It never claims a system is prohibited, because Article 5 is too narrow for three questions.

Can I change the size?

Yes. Edit the width, max-width and height in the iframe tag, and add ?theme=dark to the URL for dark pages. It adapts to narrow columns; give it at least 320 pixels of width and 600 of height.

Do I have to keep the credit link?

We ask that you keep the line under the widget. It is how a free tool pays for itself.

Is the result legal advice?

No, and the widget says so. It is a first signal that tells a visitor whether to look closer.

General information about Regulation (EU) 2024/1689, updated 7 October 2026. Not legal advice.
